1979 Knoll International Brno Tubular Chairs by Mies van der Rohe
$1,850.00
Vintage — An iconic pair of Brno chairs designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and produced by Knoll International.
Originally designed by Mies van der Rohe for the celebrated Tugendhat House in Brno, Czech Republic, the chair is defined by its continuous tubular steel frame and cantilevered construction—a remarkably restrained design that has become an enduring icon of 20th-century modernism.
These 1979 examples have been newly reupholstered in a luxurious mink-colored mohair, introducing warmth and texture against the polished chrome frames. The soft neutral upholstery creates a contemporary contrast to the architectural steel construction while remaining sympathetic to the simplicity of Mies van der Rohe's original design.
Available individually or as a pair.
